Celebrated cellist Yukyung Na’s performances have been praised by The Buxton Fringe as  “played…with style and flair.” Yukyung’s mastery of the cello possesses a rare ability to evoke  spine-tingling depth and emotional resonance that captivates audiences around the world. 

Yukyung’s musical journey began with a remarkable debut recital at the Seoul Arts Center at the  age of eleven. Since that auspicious start, she has earned numerous accolades and resonant  performances on esteemed stages around the globe. Hailing from South Korea, Yukyung’s talent  blossomed as she triumphed in numerous competitions, including the prestigious concerto  competition at the Royal Northern College of Music. Her virtuosity earned her the coveted Bach  Prize at the Royal College of Music, solidifying her place among the world’s most promising  young musicians. 

Notably, Yukyung’s mesmerizing rendition of Schumann’s Cello Concerto was broadcast on BBC  Radio 3, showcasing her remarkable artistry to audiences worldwide. Her talent caught the  attention of The Buxton Fringe, where she was nominated and selected as a featured soloist,  captivating listeners with her emotive interpretation of Elgar’s Cello Concerto. In 2025, she  recorded Franck and Shostakovich’s Cello Sonatas, and her debut album was released under the  Sheva Collection label. 

Yukyung has collaborated with distinguished musicians and graced renowned stages, including the historic Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. In addition, Yukyung has performed as an  orchestral member in prestigious venues such as Jordan Hall, the Rudolfinum’s Dvořák Hall, the  Musikverein, and Bridgewater Hall.
