    About Fried Music 
    Fried Music is thrilled to introduce an innovative incubator/accelerator program crafted for young musicians ages 4-7. Our goal is to ignite a passion for music and prepare students for a smooth transition to advanced private lessons. 

    Position Overview  
    We are seeking passionate and dedicated Cello Faculty to join our new program as W-2 employees. In this role, you will teach young beginners, helping them develop foundational cello skills and confidence. You will work closely with students and their families, supported by training and mentorship from our experienced faculty.

    Key Responsibilities  
    - Provide engaging, age-appropriate cello instruction to young students.  
    - Support students in their musical development, preparing them for performance opportunities.  
    - Create a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage growth and enthusiasm.  
    - Collaborate with senior faculty to refine teaching techniques.  
    - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.  
    - Participate in program-related events, such as recitals or workshops, as needed.  

    Qualifications 
    - Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (required).  
    - Experience teaching young children or relevant training in early music education.  
    - Strong cello performance and teaching skills, with a passion for working with beginners.  
    - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with young learners and families.  
    - Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.  
    - Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about contributing to a new music program.

  • Job Description: Fried Music is looking for classically-trained violinist for our music school faculty. Interview process will include meeting with the founders of Fried Music and the current violin faculty member. Applicants should be prepared for an interview, performance and teaching a mock lesson. Interested candidates should email us a resume, bio, recent video recording of their playing, and teaching philosophy statement.

    Requirements: 
    - Bachelors and Masters degree in Violin Performance
    - Must have the ability to commute to Fried Music in Alhambra, California
    - Must be passionate about pedagogy and open to developing and maintaining a studio
    - Develop individualized curricula that challenge students technically and artistically, preparing them for professional auditions, competitions, and performances
    - Coach chamber music ensembles
    - Perform periodically in faculty concerts
    - High level of organization and communication skills

    Preferred: Applicants who have Masters degree in Violin Performance or are working towards obtaining an MM are preferred. Our faculty is comprised of graduates from Colburn, Curtis, Juilliard, New England Conservatory, etc. Mandarin speaker a plus!

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a passionate and creative Assistant Music Teacher to join our Music Sprouts team and support classes for our upcoming fall semester. The ideal candidate will have a love for music, extensive experience working with children ages 5 and below, and the ability to musically improvise to songs. Ideally looking for a string player. 

    Responsibilities:
    - Support weekly group music lessons for parents and children ages 5 and under by actively participating and assisting the lead teacher
    - Musically improvise to songs on your instrument, creating age-appropriate, interactive musical experiences that encourage movement and creativity
    - Assist in delivering fun, engaging activities tailored to young children to enhance their musical exploration
    - Collaborate with the lead teacher and staff during performances, recitals, and events
    - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning experience

    Experience:
    - Proven experience in early childhood music education, particularly with children ages 5 and below (group settings preferred)
    - Demonstrated ability to musically improvise to songs on their instrument
    - Knowledge and familiarity with classical music
    - A bachelor’s degree in music performance (preferred)

    Schedule:
    - Saturday 8:30 AM–11:00 AM

    Requirements:
    - Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
    - Extensive experience and comfort working with children ages 5 and below
    - Ability to musically improvise to songs on their instrument for engaging, age-appropriate activities
