Huge congratulations to our Pre-College students for their various placements at the JCM Chamber Music Competition! We're so impressed with the talent and musicianship of every student. Well done to you all!

Elementary Division (Ages 11 & Under):

2nd prize: Carlos Li (violin), Gabriel Sandoval (cello), and Austin Lin (piano) from LA, performing the Haydn “Gypsy" Trio, mvt 3.

Junior Division (Ages 14 & Under):

3rd prize: Kayce Lee (violin), Markus Mauer (cello), and Lana Bui (piano) from LA performing the Clara Schumann Piano Trio in G Minor, Op. 17 – I. Allegro moderato.

Senior Division (Ages 21 & Under):

3rd Prize: Jamie Lee (violin), Isaiah Marais (cello), Maxwell Tran (piano) from LA performing the Rachmaninoff Trio Elégiaque No. 1 in G Minor.

Honorable mention: Matthew Mak (cello), Matthew Margolis (violin), and Fredrik Wong (piano) from LA performing the Arensky Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 32, I. Allegro moderato
