Melody Lee’s music journey began at four years old after a violin teacher came recruiting at her church. She was instantly amazed that someone can create beautiful, expressive sounds using a piece of wood and stick looking thing. That spark of curiosity turned into a lifelong love for music, picking up other instruments like piano and flute. Along the way, she honed her skills under the guidance of incredible mentors like Dr. WenTing Huang, Manami Kawamura, and Dr. Robert Watson.

But even as Melody’s performance skills flourished, her heart was pulling in a different direction: teaching. While pursuing her degree in Piano Performance, she began her teaching career. Over the past ten years, Melody has guided students through recitals, exams, and countless hours of practice. But what she cherishes most is the connection she builds with them—through conversations about music and life. It’s in those moments that she gets to witness her students grow into confident young artists, each discovering their own voice and creative spark.
